Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic has admitted that he wouldn’t have a problem if the club were to sign Luis Suarez, according to the Mail Online.
The Liverpool striker, who is currently serving a ten match ban for biting Ivanovic when the two sides met at Anfield in April, has been strongly linked with a move away from Merseyside this summer.
Real Madrid and Arsenal are currently the favourites to land the controversial striker, though with Jose Mourinho keen to add another striker before the start of the season, the Blues could well enter the race for his signature.
The Chelsea manager is however more likely to make an approach for Wayne Rooney, something which would be welcomed by midfielder Eden Hazard, the Mail Online understands.
The Belgium international said that Rooney ‘would be a brilliant signing’, though David Moyes has insisted that he is not for sale.
Hazard also spoke highly of his international teammate Christian Benteke, who recently requested to leave Aston Villa.
Meanwhile, fellow Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku has once again stressed that he is not willing to go out on loan again next season.
The 20 year old is determined to establish himself under Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge.
