Hazard back for Baggies clash

Eden Hazard is set to return to the Chelsea line up for tomorrow afternoon’s visit of West Bromwich Albion after missing Wednesday’s Champions League victory over Schalke for disciplinary reasons.

However, the game comes to soon for Fernando Torres, who remains side-lined with a thigh injury so either Samuel Eto’o or Demba Ba will deputise.

Former Blues duo Nicolas Anelka and Scott Sinclair are unlikely to feature against their former club as they struggle to recover from their respective injuries in time to be considered for selection.

Three points will see Jose Mourinho’s men  close the gap on leaders Arsenal, who travel to Premier League champions Manchester United on Sunday afternoon while, such is the tightness of the top half, anything other than victory could see them end the weekend as low as eighth place.

Chelsea are looking for their tenth straight home win against the Midlands side, who are now coached by former Blues defender and assistant manager Steve Clarke.

A Demba Ba goal was enough to separate the sides in last season’s corresponding fixture back in March, while the two meetings previous to that game, both at The Hawthorns, were won by the Baggies.
