Galatasaray midfielder Wesley Sneijder has hinted that he may be about to be reunited with former manager Jose Mourinho by moving to Stamford Bridge, according to the Metro.
Reports in Turkey suggest that a deal is on the cards, and now the 28 year old has revealed that he is in regular contact with the recently reappointed Blues boss.
The Dutch international only moved to the Super Lig for £6million in January, though it is thought Galatasaray would command a much higher fee for the player.
Meanwhile, the Metro understands that the Blues will have to pay £25million if they are to sign Fiorentina striker Stevan Jovetic.
Arsenal, Manchester United and Juventus are also in the race to sign to the Montenegro international, who scored 13 goals in 31 Serie A appearances last season.
Elsewhere, John Terry has emerged as a potential transfer target for big spending French Ligue 1 side Monaco, according to the Telegraph.
The Chelsea captain was used sparingly by interim manager Rafael Benitez last season, amassing just eleven league starts in total.
Monaco boss Claudio Ranieri is only too aware of the 32 year olds qualities, the pair having worked together at Stamford Bridge between 2000 and 2004.
