Chelsea are expected to welcome back both Ashley Cole and Gary Cahill for this evening’s Europa League semi-final first leg against FC Basel.
The England duo have been out of action for the best part of a month, after Cole injured a hamstring on the first of April, and Cahill had knee surgery two days earlier.
Brazilian midfielder Oscar is also in the 19-man squad, despite suffering from a groin problem.
The Blues are aiming to become only the fourth team to have won all three of UEFA’s major club competitions, having won the Cup Winners Cup in 1971 and 1998, as well as last seasons Champions League triumph.
Meanwhile, the father of Brazilian sensation Neymar has revealed that the 21 year old will move to Europe after next year’s World Cup.
Neymar Snr, who is also the players agent, said that the Santos forward will “close a chapter in his life”, with Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid expected to join Chelsea in the race for his signature.
Finally, Blues youngster Todd Kane has signed a new contract at the club, keeping him at Stamford Bridge until 2016.
The right-back is currently on loan for a second spell at Championship side Blackburn Rovers.
