Barcelona are monitoring Juan Mata’s situation at Chelsea, following reports that the Spain international is unhappy at Stamford Bridge, the Daily Star understands.
Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo claim that the two time Blues Player of the Year is uninterested with the limited role he is set to continue to play under Jose Mourinho.
Having made just one appearance for the club so far this season, the 25 year old was linked with a move away during the summer, with Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Manchester United all said to be interested.
However, it is the La Liga champions who are expected to make a move for the former Valencia man when the transfer window reopens in January.
Elsewhere, Brazil international Ramires has opened the door on a return to Benfica in the future, according to the Express.
The 26 year old, who moved to Stamford Bridge three years ago, has won the FA Cup, Champions League and Europa League during his time with the club.
Finally, Malaga are planning to hijack Getafe’s move for former Blues midfielder Yossi Benayoun, TalkSport understands.
The Israel international was released by the club this summer after making just fourteen appearances in three seasons with the Blues.

England manager Roy Hodgson has confirmed the Frank Lampard will win his 100th cap for England in this evening’s World Cup Qualifier against Ukraine.
The Chelsea midfielder, along with nine others who started Friday’s win over Moldova, retains his place in Roy Hodgson’s side, who will go a long way to securing their place at next summer’s tournament in Brazil with victory in Kiev.
Lampard, who is also his country’s tenth top scorer of all time with 29 goals, made his debut in the 2-1 friendly victory over Belgium in 1999, and will join Peter Shilton, David Beckham, Billy Wright, Bobby Moore, Bobby Charlton, Steven Gerrard and Blues teammate Ashley Cole as players to have worn the Three Lions 100 times.
Elsewhere, Yossi Benayoun is set to secure a move to Getafe following his release from Chelsea, according to the Mirror.
The Israel international made just fourteen appearances in three seasons for with the Blues, and scored his only goal in a 6-0 win over Wigan Athletic three years ago.
He was however loaned to both Arsenal and his former club West Ham United during that time, while he has also played for Liverpool since moving to the Premier League in 2005.

With all the recent talk being about players heading to Chelsea, the Daily Mail has reported that up to nine players could leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
The most likely to depart from the club appear to be midfielder Florent Malouda, who hasn’t made a single appearance for the Blues this season, and Paulo Ferreira who has fallen down the pecking order in recent years.
Third choice goalkeeper Henrique Hilario is, along with Frank Lampard and Fernando Torres, highly likely to depart according to the paper, who also predicts that Yossi Benayoun, Marko Marin, Michael Essien and Jeffrey Bruma will be moved on.
Meanwhile, Thibaut Courtois has told Spanish press that he wants to stay with Atletico Madrid once his loan deal with the club has expired.
The Belgian shot-stopper, who at the weekend broke the record for the longest run without conceding at the Calderon, is due to return to London in the summer.
Finally, the club will find out when their FA Cup quarter final replay with Manchester United will take place later this week, with the decision hinging on the result of the Europa League last sixteen second leg with Steaua Bucharest.
