Cavani set for Napoli talks

Edinson Cavani is set for talks with Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis to establish whether or not he will be leaving the club this summer, according to Sky Sports.

The 26 year old has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, while Real Madrid, Manchester City and Manchester United are also said to be interested.

However, his buyout clause of £54million has deterred suitors from making a move for the player, who scored in Uruguay’s 2-1 Confederations Cup defeat to Brazil yesterday evening.

Meanwhile, the club have been linked with a move for highly rated Verona midfielder Jorginho, the Express understands.

The 21 year old played in all but one of the Serie B side’s league games last season, scoring twice to help them secure a return to the top tier.

Arsenal had reportedly been considering an approach in January, with Verona requesting a fee of £6m for his services.

Elsewhere, TalkSport have claimed that PSV Eindhoven look set to complete a deal for Chelsea defender Jeffrey Bruma.

The Dutch international made just a handful of appearances for the Blues before being sent out on loan to Leicester City in February 2011, while he has the past two seasons with Bundesliga side Hamburger SV.
